Vebego Foundation partners with FEESTvarken vzw to make birthdays possible for children in Belgium who are growing up in poverty. Because every child deserves a special day filled with decorations, treats and a present.
Each year, FEESTvarken vzw delivers thousands of birthday boxes anonymously to families across Belgium – helping ensure every child gets to celebrate, just like their peers.
Each birthday box is carefully put together for children aged 1 to 12 who are growing up in poverty. The boxes are distributed to families through local social services. Inside, you’ll find a gift, party supplies and a treat to share at school – giving every child the chance to enjoy a joyful birthday celebration.
FEESTvarken vzw doesn’t just work for children – they work with them. Through workshops and lesson packages, they help schools raise awareness about poverty, from kindergarten to secondary school. Using stories, interactive activities and educational materials, children learn in an accessible way what it means to grow up with less. It’s a meaningful step towards empathy, understanding and connection in the classroom.
