Together, we're building a better future

A warm meal each day, playing sports with friends, school supplies, or a doctor’s visit – things that may seem normal, but are out of reach for many children in Belgium. Together with the Pelicano Foundation, we support families in difficult situations, so children can grow up with the opportunities they deserve.

Pelicano provides long-term, targeted support to children living in poverty. The help is tailored to what children truly needs – and continues until they turn 18, and sometimes even longer.

Support that lasts, for as long as it's needed

Pelicano’s support goes exactly where it’s needed most: to the child. Not in cash, but through essentials and direct help – like a warm coat, school supplies, or access to a sports club. Together with schools and social workers, they carefully assess what’s needed. The support continues for as long as it takes, often until the child turns 18 or is ready to move forward independently.

Support is here for you too, as a Vebego colleague

Through this partnership, colleagues working at Vebego companies in Belgium can also apply for support. Struggling to pay school bills? Not enough money for sports or medical care for your child? You can reach out to us through a support request. Together, we’ll see whether Pelicano or another form of support can help your situation. Everything is handled with complete confidentiality – no one else needs to know.

There’s no shame in asking for help. It’s not always easy, but the difference it makes – for you and your family – is significant.

How does it work?

You can submit a support request through the form on our website. Just leave your phone number or email address, and we’ll get in touch to explore what support is available. Prefer to contact us directly? That’s also perfectly fine.

The support you receive is a gift and never has to be paid back.
