My Effort, My Project is a Vebego Foundation initiative that allows colleagues to request financial support for their volunteer work with a club, charity or community organisation. It’s designed to support projects that contribute to society and create local impact.

Applying is simple. Just fill out the application form and briefly explain which initiative you’re seeking support for. You’ll hear from us within a week and can then start bringing your project to life.

A wide range of initiatives qualify, as long as they involve volunteer work that creates positive impact in your own community. Think of projects for sports clubs, neighbourhood activities, scouting groups, music associations or local charities. As long as you’re personally involved and your contribution supports others, you can apply.

You can apply for a contribution of up to €500 per project. This funding is meant to help your initiative move forward and increase the impact of your volunteer work.

You can apply once per calendar year. This way, we can give as many colleagues as possible the chance to boost their initiatives.

You’ll receive a response within a week. If your request is approved, the contribution will be transferred so you can get started right away.

Yes, your personal commitment is what makes these projects valuable. You should be actively involved in the organisation or initiative you're applying on behalf of.

A support request is a confidential way for you to ask for help for yourself or your family. It’s available to colleagues who need temporary financial or practical assistance. Everything is handled privately and without judgement.

You can ask for support when you’re struggling to cover essential costs for your family. Think of school supplies, clothing, a bike or other everyday needs that help your children participate fully. Support is often arranged through our trusted partners, such as Sam& voor alle Kinderen, Humanitas and Pelicano.

After your request, someone from Vebego Foundation will contact you. We’ll talk through your situation and schedule a home visit. Together, we’ll explore what kind of support is possible through our partner organisations. We’ll then submit the request together and make sure help is arranged as quickly as possible.

Vebego Foundation supports international projects that focus on education, care and community development. Sometimes that means building a school or shelter. Other times it’s a financial contribution to a local organisation helping children and families take steps towards a better future.

We currently support projects in Sri Lanka, Morocco, Ghana and South Africa. These initiatives often focus on education, infrastructure and local community support – always in close collaboration with trusted local partners.
