Sam& for all children... with Vebego Foundation
Not being able to have a birthday party, not being able to buy sports equipment. Not being able to pay for music lessons, teaching aids, not being able to buy a new, bigger bed. It is the daily reality for many parents, who feel all too well what this means for their children.
Often support is available, but it is a maze to figure out how to arrange for help from your local council or another agency. This also takes a lot of time. collaborative Sam& for all children changes this; Sam& is a collaboration between Leergeld Nederland, Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur, Stichting Jarige Job and Kinderhulp. Sam& offers one place where really all requests for help for supporting children can be submitted. As a parent, you submit your question for your child online on the Sam& website, and you are automatically helped to the right cooperation partner who can mean something in your own region.
As a Foundation, we want to help make the world of children and young people (up to 25 years old) better. And we know that for some of our collaborators, Sam& could directly help and concretely contribute in the lives of their children. This is why we decided to establish a multi-year partnership between the Foundation and Sam&.
Colleagues from Vebego are also going to play a very direct role in this: so-called “intermediaries” are being trained within Vebego. These are colleagues who will publicise the possibilities of Sam& and guide other colleagues who could use support for their families to submit applications together.
