How can Vebego Foundation support colleagues with financial worries?
Financial worries can affect anyone. Sometimes it is an unexpected bill, sometimes a period with less income. It can create a lot of stress and impact how you feel, both at home and at work. At Vebego Foundation, we believe no colleague should face this alone. That is why we offer the posibility to submit a support request.
What is a support request?
A support request is a form of help designed specifically for Vebego colleagues who need an extra hand. It can involve practical or financial support that helps ease the pressure. It is not only there for major problems, but also for the small, everyday things that can cause a lot of stress. Think of the cost of school supplies, a sports membership or organizing a birthday party for your child.
Submitting a request is easy, completely anonymous and always without judgement. You do not have to carry your situation alone; we will gladly think with you about the best possible solution.
Examples of support request
Support requests are often about practical costs that make it possible for children to fully participate in daily life. Examples include:
- School supplies, books, a laptop or a bicycle to get to school
- Clothing for your children, such as winter coat, shoes or summer clothes
- Medical expenses, such as glasses, medication or other healthcare costs
- Baby essentials for young families, such as nappies, children's clothing or a stroller
- Swimming lessons or other basic activities for your child

How do you submit a support request?
Submitting a request is simple:
- Fill out the form on our website and we will contact you. Prefer to reach out directly? You can call or WhatsApp Josine (+31 6 10390839) or send her an email (josine.dekker@vebegofoundation.com).
- We will call or message you to discuss what you need. After that, someone from the foundation will visit you at home to look together at what kind of support can be arranged through our partners.
- Within six weeks you will hear what we can do for you. All support provied is a gift, it never has to be paid back. It is meant as a helping hand, so you can take the next step forward.
Working with partners
Vebego Foundation collaborates with organizations such as Sam& for all children, Humanitas, the Pelicano Foundation for Child Poverty and FEESTvarken Foundation. These partners bring valuable expertise and experience, making it possible to help more people and provide the right support directly.
Training: recognizing financial worries
In addition to offering direct help, we are organizing training sessions in early November on recognizing financial worries. In these sessions, you will learn which signals to look out for and how to support colleagues in a respectful way.
The training sessions will take place on 4, 5 and 6 November, between 10:00 and 14:00.
