Meet Paul Reijven: Treasurer of Vebego Foundation

At Vebego Foundation, everything revolves around connection, collaboration and making a real difference. Those values perfectly reflect the way Paul Reijven embraces his role as treasurer. As the newest member of our board, it is time to get to know him a little better.

From finance to foundation
Paul has been a part of Vebego since 2016. Over the years, he has held various financial leaderships roles, including Director of Business Control and Director of Risk & Compliance. Today, he serves as Director of Finance at Vebego Zorgservice. ‘My day-to-day work is all about numbers. Being able to use that expertise for the foundation as well feels like a natural next step, and one I’m proud of.’

As treasurer, Paul is responsible for managing the financial side of Vebego Foundation. ‘A solid financial foundation is key, especially when you want to create lasting impact. My job is to make sure everything is in order, so we can continue to support meaningful projects with confidence.’

‘I am happy to use my knowledge and experience to help others. To me, that is what the foundation is all about.’

Visibility and growth
What does he hope to achieve in his role? ‘I think it’s important hat we keep growing our visibility and continue to show what we do. The more people know about the foundation, the more impact we can have’, Paul explains.

He emphasizes that this starts with the involvement of colleagues. ‘The foundation is here for everyone at Vebego. Whether you need a helping hand, have an idea for a project or want to support someone else: there are so many ways to get involved.’
