Looking back on 'Sam& in the Neighbourhood'

Capelle a/d IJssel, Goes, Houten and Leeuwarden... It’s already been three weeks since Stichting Sam& for all children and its partners took to the streets for a heartwarming initiative: Sam& in the Neighbourhood. During this three-day event, held on 14, 15 and 16 June, delicious scoops of ice cream were handed out to excited children and parents in various locations, including Utrecht and Goes.

The weather couldn’t have been better, the perfect setting to surprise children with a refreshing treat. The event was received with great enthusiasm and was a big success thanks to the fantastic team behind it.

In addition to handing out treats, the team also spoke with parents and teachers to raise awareness about the mission of Stichting Sam& for all children. “Sam& makes sure each request reaches the right organisation,” one of the representatives explained. “This allows children to access essentials like school supplies, sports and music lessons, swimming lessons, and even celebrate an unforgettable birthday.”

The event received warm and positive feedback from children, parents, volunteers and others involved. The community’s involvement shows just how important it is to give all children equal opportunities, no matter their background.
