Looking back on a bright day at recreation park ‘De Leistert’

On Saturday 24 May, we organised a day full of relaxation, fun and connection, together with Vebego Cleaning Services, Sam& for all children and recreation park ‘De Leistert’. The day was specially created for Vebego colleagues and their families, as well as for families who could really use a day like this.

What started as a sunny morning turned into a day filled with meaningful moments. Colleagues, volunteers and families gathered at recreation park ‘De Leistert’ for a festival dedicated to fun and connection. 

For those who needed it most
We welcomed 25 families from Leergeld Foundation, families of local colleagues and families from the park itself. Children could play, jump, craft, dance and explore. Parents got a moment to breathe. And colleagues from across Vebego companies stepped in as volunteers: from Alpheios to Zorgservice, from Groen to our Belgian colleagues from Vebego Cleaning & Services.

The appreciation was written on everyone’s faces. The joyful children. The relaxed parents. The warm conversations in between. And yes, there were a few rain showers, but they couldn’t dampen the spirit of this beautiful day.

We made it happen together
What made this day so special was the collaboration. With recreation park ‘De Leistert’, Sam& for all children, Leergeld Foundation, Youth Fund Sports & Culture, Jarige Job Foundation, National Child Aid Fund, Youth Education Fund, De Rooi Pannen, and even the fire brigade from Panningen.

A special thank you goes to Angelique Joosten and Jordy from recreation park ‘De Leistert’. And of course to all of Jordy’s colleagues for their hospitality, organisation and warm welcome. Lisa and Lise from Sam& for all Children and Anke from Vebego Cleaning Services also deserve heartfelt thanks. Their commitment and involvement made this day a great success.
