Meet Rahel Wagner representative for Vebego Foundation Switzerland

Since 2005, Vebego Foundation has been committed to creating a better day for colleagues, children and families around the world. We do this together with dedicated people within our Vebego organisation. One of them is Rahel, who recently took on the role of country representative for Switzerland.

People-focused by nature
Rahel has been working as an HR Project Manager at Vebego AG since December 2023. Together with her colleagues, she focuses on HR processes, strategy and topics such as digitalisation, employer branding and optimisation. Before joining Vebego, she spent many years working in the hospitality sector, an environment where attention to people, service and communication is essential. “That background has shaped me,” she explains. “I see myself as a committed professional with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in people.”

Creating impact for colleagues

In her role as a representative of Vebego Foundation, Rahel wants to ensure that colleagues in Switzerland are aware of the foundation and the support available to them. She is particularly passionate about the My Effort, My Project programme. “This initiative deserves more visibility,” she says.

“Many colleagues don’t realise they can apply for support for their volunteer projects. I want to raise awareness and help make that step easier.”

Connecting countries and local partners
Rahel also sees it as her mission to strengthen the foundation’s presence in Switzerland. She does this by seeking out local social partners that align with Vebego’s values. “Social engagement is part of who we are. By working with Swiss organisations, we can offer colleagues more opportunities to get involved and give something back to their communities.”

At the same time, she values the international collaboration within Vebego. “The foundation connects all Vebego countries. We inspire each other, share experiences and reinforce our shared mission to make a positive impact in society. That exchange makes us all stronger.”
