Donation gives Moroccan children a brighter future
The earthquake in Morocco left deep marks. All colleagues invovled in a social organisation or initiative to support the victims in Morocco were invited to apply for a donation through "My Effort, My Project" by Vebego Foundation. Colleague Adila Harrach is increadibly proud that, with her donation, she's helping to create a brighter future for children in Marrakesh.
Recently, we adapted our "My Effort, My Project" initiative to respond specifically to the needs in Morocco. If you work at a Vebego company and are involved in relief efforts for the victims in Morocco, you can apply for a financial contribution of up to €1,500 through this initiative.
Essential supplies and school uniforms
Adila Harrach is one of the colleagues who applied for this donation. We asked her what impact the support from Vebego Foundation has had on the Moroccan community. "THanks to the generous contribution from Vebego Foundation, the 'Caring Sisters' were able to travel to Marrakesh to support children who lost their parents in the earthquake. Three orphanages received care products, food supplies, school uniforms and school materials. Their gratitude was truly hearthwarming."

"What the orphanage director shared with us still moves me deeply: "We always wanted to reach the children living high in the mountains, because they don't have access to education. And now God has brought them to us, so we can still give them a chance at a better future. About My Effort, My Project
Through "My Effort, My Project", you can apply for support as a colleague of a Vebego company for the volunteer work you do outside of working hours. This might be for a sports club, local community initiative, cultural organisation or foundation you're involved in. Vebego Foundation supports these kinds of initiatives with a contribution of up to €500.
